No Ads - A Shocker!

An article from the BBC reports that the president of France himself is phasing ads out of public broadcasting. I would have never thought a capitalistic society would ever give advertising the 'cold shoulder.' Then again, I do sympathize with the leaders of this new ad phase-out, as I too have had it with some commercials. For one thing, bogus medical drugs need to be removed from broadcasting, especially the 5-hour energy drink bulls**t. Also, why any medicine should be advertised, that's up in the air. Doctors should recommend treatments, not the crazy drunk guy saying "Head-On" for five minutes straight.
